After changing my plan for my Capstone video twice and still feeling like I needed to change more things, I have finally come to a more clear idea of what I need to do. Stepping away from my video for a while has helped me be able to think of better ways to move clips and what I say in the video. Between my Capstone site and the video, my brain has been constantly thinking for a while now. Initially I was envisioning something in my head but when I started to put it together I quickly found it was a bit more difficult than expected. I’ve reorganized my plan and decided to use a few video clips I had previously created in the classroom with students. There are some song videos and other classroom clips that I can use to fill in the extra talking space I need. I wanted to make my video with only video clips but I might have to add some text slides or images in order to fill the gaps when talking. At this point I am still editing the video and trying not to overthink it.

Sometimes that's the best way to handle something like this by not "over-thinking it", even though that is very difficult to do especially in this situation! I like your idea of using clips from your classroom and filling space with text while your talking. Finding a good balance between the two will make for a strong video! I look forward to seeing the final presentation!

Taking a break from your video is a great idea. I found myself not touching my video for about a week. During that time I was able to reflect on what you and the rest of the cohort recommended I do to make it better. And I think that I have a better idea of what I want to do. I also appreciate that you are willing to go different routes with how you wanted to do your video from the beginning because I was in the same predicament as yours. The initial idea seemed great but once it needed to be created it seemed out of our reach! lol but hey it seems like you have a good idea on how to finish it and can't wait to see all the work you have done and especially how your students work will be a part of your story.
